This Privacy Policy explains what information The Trend Trade ("we," "us," or "our") collects when you request our free stock scorecard, and how that information is used. It applies to this website and to the emails we send as a result of your request.
Information We Collect
When you fill out the form to request the scorecard, we collect:
- First name — so we can address you personally in emails.
- Email address — so we can deliver the scorecard and follow-up emails.
We don't collect payment information, and we don't require an account. We also receive standard technical data automatically from your browser and our hosting provider (such as pages viewed and general device/browser type) for basic site analytics and security.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information you provide to:
- Send you the scorecard you requested;
- Send related emails, such as tips and updates from The Trend Trade;
- Understand which content resonates so we can improve future emails and videos;
- Maintain the security and integrity of our mailing list.
We do not use your information to make automated decisions that have a legal or similarly significant effect on you.
Email Delivery Partner
We use a third-party email service provider to store your first name and email address and to send the scorecard and follow-up emails on our behalf. That provider processes your data only to deliver these services and is bound by its own privacy and security obligations. We don't manage the technical delivery of email ourselves.
Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We only share it with the email service provider described above, and only as needed to operate this mailing list. We may disclose information if required to do so by law.
Data Retention
We keep your first name and email address for as long as you remain subscribed, so we can continue sending you emails. If you unsubscribe, your information is either deleted or retained only in a suppressed/unsubscribed state so we can honor your opt-out and avoid emailing you again.
Your Choices
Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link. You can also contact us directly (see below) to ask what information we have about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. We'll respond to reasonable requests promptly.
Cookies and Tracking
This site does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Our email service provider may use standard email-engagement tracking (such as open and click tracking) inside the emails it sends on our behalf, consistent with its own privacy policy.
Children's Privacy
This site and its content are intended for adults interested in investing education. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13, and we ask that anyone under that age not submit the form.
